SEO Mad Scientist

Another week has gone by and we are almost through testing every single GMB listing signal on the listing itself.

This week we want to look at irrelevant or unrelated GMB categories…

  • Does adding additional categories affect keyword rankings?

We recently noted the fact that Google definitely creates “guesses” or assumptions about your business when showing it for keywords as we have seen our GMBs ranking in SERPs for completely irrelevant services with no mention of that service anywhere.

If this is the case it would make sense that adding relevant or irrelevant categories may have some kind of impact.

This is also good to know as certain GMB categories have special features while others have some pretty big restrictions. If adding additional categories to unlock these features does not impact rankings negatively, then we can safely use the secondary categories to unlock these features or workaround posting restrictions (in some niches).

It is important to note that some of these categories can not be used for service area businesses such as “store” or “restaurant”. So if you are a SAB, you won’t be able to unlock the menu function by adding “restaurant”.

To start off we took our Chicago SEO listing and reviewed the rank history. We have actually been testing on this GMB with a lot of on listing signals and so far very few have shown to have much-ranking strength. At most, it would give us the entry into the SERPs, but that could be position 74…

The Chicago SEO Pros saw little movement from previous changes BUT, would add completely irrelevant categories hurt the rankings we had such as “SEO Service”?

Obviously, Dentist, Hair Salon, roofing contractor, and Resort don’t seem right there.

Something that may not be of importance but is interesting to see is that when I added these 3 new categories, I added them to the bottom of the list of categories like I normally do. Telemarketing service was the one I added in the previous test if you remember and like it normally did, it added it to the bottom of the list of categories. This time Google chose to reorder the categories putting 3 new ones at the top and another further down ?

After about 5 days we still see very little movement. We are watching multiple keywords but we decided to focus on the rankings for “internet marketing service” as that was our primary category and one would assume if it were to impact other rankings negatively, this would be the most obvious to see.

Just like the other terms, we still see nothing more than what appears to be normal fluctuations.

You could say there was a slight downward movement but if we look at other terms they seemed to have gone up slightly as well. So we don’t believe this is anything more than normal movement.

Now when we first ran this experiment we were questioning if adding these categories would hurt our current ‘category‘ rankings. So we weren’t tracking ‘new‘ keywords. While reviewing the results, however, it became clear that there were more important questions other than just would it hurt. The other side is would it help… Or more importantly, would we now rank for additional terms that Google would connect based on current data and the new data presented.

So we ran a report for dental SEO and this is what we found.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the before reports so we immediately went to action and ran reports for law firm SEO, attorney SEO and related terms. (We aren’t going to show them all but none showed rankings like the image below.)

Then added our categories…

Within seconds of the GMB updating here is our results ⬇⬇⬇

As you can see there is some weird filtering when it comes to the terms we “told” Google, or the terms that exactly match our new categories. But, if we look at the related terms, or the ones Google “figured out” on their own, we have a strong/consistent ranking with my filtering

Google clearly is relying heavily on their algorithm to figure out what to rank vs taking it for face value. In fact, it looks like a specific filter is in place for this. This could be a major factor in why we saw no movement with our previous tests, adding remodeling terms everywhere to try and produce a ranking result.

This gives us a LOT of insight into GMB ranking signals which appears to be very different than the traditional organic on-page. It would be better to say “We are black and white striped, and look like a horse, but we are not horses.” instead of saying “Zebra” using this understanding.

In fact, the only place Google doesn’t seem to emphasize this filter or process of “we want to figure it out” is when it comes to the business name.

These findings open up a whole list of new tests which we hope you join us for as we move forward in 2021.

We will see you next week and as always,

Happy Testing!

Do Expired Domains Still Work? – Benefits and Drawbacks

Do Expired Domains Still Work? – Benefits and Drawbacks

Do expired domains still work?

You can use expired domains for creating a private blog network. With a pbn, you build a fleet of highly authoritative sites in a specific niche. You can use the pbn to rank any site you want easily. In fact, private blog networks use it for link building. You get full control over the content, link placement, anchor text, and much more. However, you need to find expired domains (in your niche) that possess a clean link profile as well as spam-free history.

To understand expired domains, and their significance, an understanding of the difference between a domain and a website is required. A good analogy is to liken a domain to a company telephone number, and a website to a company office. People can use a telephone to enter a company telephone number to call up the company and place orders, in the same way, that they can use an internet browser to enter a domain to look at the company website and place orders.

You may be wondering what all this hype is about around expired domain names. Expired domains names are a great way to grab some aged backlinks without having to build them yourself. These expired domains can be used for both your money site or your private blog network. Since the previous domain owner likely had a legitimate business or blog, these expired domains tend to contain some very useful backlinks that you can’t usually buy for the price of a $10 domain name.

Expired domains only work when you renew or re-register them. When you purchase an expired domain, they come with any inbound links accumulated over the time they were alive. Some people buy expired domains from similar businesses to help with their SEO and google rankings.

What is an expired domain?

What is an expired domain?

Your first thought when buying a car is always the same: new or used?

The process of buying a domain name starts the same way. Do you want a brand new domain or an expired one with previously established traffic?

The benefits and the drawbacks are similar, but choosing the right domain depends on your needs, your domain name budget, and the competition within your industry. Learn how to make the right choice that further establishes your business online.

Domain names do not expire and become available for registration on the date of the expiration. There are many steps and processes that take place and fancy icann status code names a domain name follows from the date of expiry until it may be available to the public again for registration.

Why should you care about expired domains? the answer is simple. Some domains that have expired may have had high domain authority. Instead of starting with non-applicable ranking by google, which happens for new websites, acquiring expired domains can help you have high ranking immediately. But it’s important to analyse the good ones, from the ones that can hurt you.

Thousands of domain names expire every day. The reasons are different. Some owners forgot to renew the
domains, some just don’t want them anymore or they moved on to other projects. For most people, these so-called expired domains don’t have any value. They just see a bunch of domain names someone else deleted and move on.

Can I buy an expired domain?

Building a website requires you to have a domain in place. However, it is not that you always have to buy a brand new domain. Well, you have the option of buying expired domains. You are in for a big advantage when you get good backlink profile and existing targeted traffic for the same price as that of a brand new domain.

Many people have reported forgetting to renew their domain names. They lose track and get suddenly surprised by the fact that the domain expired how to get it back?
i’ve got to experience this before. I buy a domain for a new project. It takes time to launch it. And suddenly, I get a quick email alert notifying me that the domain name has been expired.

Yes, you can buy an expired domain once it has been expired for 30-40 days. When you purchase an expired domain, it will be yours for 1-10 years depending on the terms. You can opt for auto-renewal to avoid it expiring in the future.

I received an email from a regular blog reader of kickstart commerce. This person totally stoked about how they read my latest blog about finding and buying domain names. They found an expired domain name to just die for, I was super excited, as I usually am to hear from our readers, to hear of this reader’s good fortune find.

How do expired domains work?

Today people are making their own private blog networks to trick google. This method is useful but it is not acceptable. To rank high people are using their own set of private blog networks to get good backlinks. So, you can use those bought expired domains to make a pbn and link back to your money site. (this is not the way we do things but to each their own)

Again, i don’t recommend buying severely damaged expired domains that have been used as churn and burn websites or been used in scams of any type. It doesn’t always workout that one can rehab a severely damaged expired domain name back into good standings with search engines at all or in the time it took me. As my reader learned, nothing is promised and each expired domain must be researched and purchased on a case by case basis.

I teach how to find expired domain names for free, and how to pick through them to find a domain that could be used as a money site or a private blog network. We analyzed the domains backlinks with ahrefs, Moz and majestic to check if the domain had been spammed. I also suggest a number of free tools to use and discuss the best backordering services.

If you’re going to acquire satellites or pbn (private blog network developed to grow incoming links), expired domains are right here to provide the main website with the top-quality external backlinks in order to increase its current citation index and pr (page rank).

Why buy an expired domain?

Imagine buying a used car and finding out that the previous owner swapped in a new turbocharged engine. And racing stripes. If you purchase a reputable expired domain name, there’s a chance there’s already an audience, established backlinks, and incoming web traffic heading your way. This gives you a leg up when you put marketing spend on your new business, making it easier to reach customers and convince them to buy.

That’s certainly possible with the power of expired domains. In fact, the practice of buying expired domains is taken as a grey hat SEO technique to rank better in the search. Today, we are here to showcase this power that you get with expired domains. You get to know the best places to buy expired domains & benefits of buying expired domains.

Instead of buying an expired domain, the safer way to avoid google sandbox is to take over a ‘dead’ site and use it to grow your business. What’s the difference between a dead site and an expired domain?
A dead site is still accessible on its domain URL but has been abandoned by its owner. An expired domain/site, on the other hand, has passed its validity period and can no longer be accessed by internet users.

There are many reasons why people buy expired domain names. Here are some of the most common reasons why people buy expired domain names instead of brand new ones. Authority: if google treats an expired domain name as an authority, people will purchase that expired domain names. If there already have a lot of high-quality backlinks pointing to the domain, it’s easy to build a new site from the first day and start to attract traffic.

Learn How To Find Powerful Expired Domains Step By Step

If your domains, SSL, or web hosting is about to expire or near to expiry date, renew it using the below-mentioned GoDaddy promo codes to get the additional discount. Jul 03, 2020 · if this is a renewal, you can ignore the intermediate cert because you already installed in when you installed your first cert.

What Can You Use Expired Domains For?

Expired domains are domain names that have been registered in past by individuals or businesses, but they have not renewed after the contract period, and they are deliberately terminated. These domains are available for re-registration by anyone. There can be various reasons for abandoning a domain. One of the prime reasons could be that the web project failed. It could also be that a domain portfolio went into liquidation.

“Regarding your recent blog post I wanted to add that last year performed a scan on top 5000 domain names from Alexa global rank and discovered 49 subdomains of different domains (that is ~1% of all ones) that point in cname records to not registered, forgotten domains or their subdomains. So in this case, if you want to own not used subdomain just simply buy an expired domain name and configure its DNS zone.

What is an expired domain name?
An expired domain name is a domain name which was previously registered but the owner did not re-register it. If a domain name expires, it becomes available for anyone to register. Why are expired domains so popular?
one reason is that if the domain name itself has a lot of link popularity, it will have an established source of traffic. What this means to you is if you snap up an expired domain with an established source of traffic, you will have a site with instant traffic.

Who knows about SEO or the value of good backlinks, expired domain names are money just waiting to get picked up from the street. The only problem is to separate the good ones from the bad ones.

How To Find Powerful Expired Domains Easily

This is a free tool that lets you easily find expired domains and buy them. This tool has very powerful filters for you to narrow down your search. Domain Hunter is one of the best and reliable tools to simply find out powerful domains with good authority. Using these tools anyone can easily find powerful niche domain names in just minutes without putting any efforts. Domain hunter-gatherer
if you do not have any idea what to look for, simply type the slot or a related keyword so that domain hunter-gatherer can provide you with a complete list of expired domains. All you need to do is simply find out which domain is good and have high authority.

Why should I buy an expired domain name?

The value of an expired domain springs from the key SEO benefits that are associated with it due to an existing backlink profile. In fact, it is necessary to determine the quality of an expired domain when you consider buying it. You should look at the inbound links that are associated with it. Moreover, expired domains contain relevant keywords (in the second-level domain) that might refer to products, brands, or services.

You can recognize a dead site if it hasn’t been updated for years, has long-standing design issues that no one seems to care about, or any other indication that shows that the owner has lost interest in the site. Buying a dead site saves you from a lot of the risks associated with expired domains. For example, since a dead site is still online, it retains its authority, unlike expired domains which can start losing authority after some time.

Registering an expired domain (with the help of services like domain name aftermarket );
I don’t want to go into discussing the effectiveness of this method as it can be both waste of time and great tactic (i myself saw both). Some people prefer to start from scratch; others want to develop old domains as this appears faster. What holds true is that buying an established domain is risky and you should know what to look out for.

Most of the domain names that I buy as investments are expired domain names. This is where I’ve made the bulk of my money flipping domains and I still buy expired domain names all the time. 99% of the time these are domains that nobody is using and they just let drop, and back onto the market, they come.

What Are Expired Domains?

Depending on the domain extension you can search through thousands of domains every day before
they get released to the public and pick what you like.

Domain names registered with Enom that expire become inactive immediately, a parking page is displayed, and all the services attached to it, such as a website and/or email cease to function. It is not possible to make any updates to the domain while it is expired. The domain will remain available for reactivation at your regular domain rate under your list of expired domains.

For analysing expired domains, scraper offers a tool called tdnam scraper. It is a free addon but only allows you to retrieve expired domains from GoDaddy auctions. Start by opening the tdnam addon and enter a keyword for domains to lookup. All domain extensions can be selected but you can be specific, especially if you are using localised SEO marketing. After the scraper is done, you can click export to send to scrapebox.

The most important benefit of expired domains is the backlink profile associated with it. This relates to the incoming links that have built up when the domain was previously in use. When these domains get re-registered, the incoming links remain to exist as long as website owners from where these links are coming to remove them. However, we must state that the backlink profile of an expired domain comes as a double-edged sword.

Who Buys Expired Domains?

Godaddy is changing its closeout auction pricing structure in a move that will upset some domain investors and make others happy. When a domain name on GoDaddy’s expired auction platform doesn’t sell by the end date, it moves to closeouts. Closeouts follow a dutch auction format in which the domain is $11 (plus renewal) on the first day and decreases by one dollar per day to $5. The domain proceeds to deletion if no one buys it by the final day.

The aim of this article is to give you an idea of how professionals purchase expired domains and how you can do the same. A professional domainer looks at different aspects of a domain based on the reason to buy the domain. There are three types of professional domainers:
domain traders – a domain trader buys and sells domains. Often these domains are sold to users who care more about the domain name than the metrics.

View your expired domains by selecting expiration above your domains list, then expired. I also like GoDaddy auctions, there are lots of expired domain names and you buy either buy them with a single click and then it goes directly to your account. (need help logging in? find your username or password. The information on GoDaddy auctions change rapidly, but the source file on their FTP server is only updated once a day. Jobs domain names. You can still transfer an expired domain, so long as it’s still in the grace period and not in redemption status.

Google doesn’t penalize people for almost anything. They are still a pretty dumb company in many cases. Also, this prevents negative seo. Google never deindexes formerly expired domains or penalized 301s. It’d be all fun and games blocking expired domains until google gets it wrong for a big company who renews their old domain – or buys an expired one for a name to expand their brand.

The Ultimate Guide to Small Business Website Design in 2021

The Ultimate Guide to Small Business Website Design in 2021
Web Development

First impressions matter.

For many potential customers, the first impression they have of your business is your website. That website might also be where they go to interact with you or purchase your product.

Whether you’re creating your first website or looking to redesign an old one, it’s important to get it right.

Your website needs to look great, use technical best practices, represent your brand accurately, and rank well on Google.

That’s a big demand on a small business

You probably don’t have a team of web design experts on staff or the budget to waste on a web property that won’t help your bottom line. So how can you create a website that gives your small business a competitive edge?

This article will lead you through what you need to know to get started with your small business web design project.

Do you need a website for your small business?

This is a no-brainer: businesses of all sizes need a website.

Surprisingly, only 64% of small businesses have one. The other 36% are missing out on big benefits. That’s because today’s consumers expect to find every bit of information they need online.

When people are looking for a business like yours — or if they’ve already heard your name and want more information — they turn to the internet. A massive 93% of consumers used the internet to find a local business in the last year. Up to 34% did so every single day.

If you don’t have a website, you simply don’t exist for many of these people.

This is true even if you’re a brick and mortar business targeting a purely local audience.

Once potential customers find you on the internet, you want to make a good impression on them. A professional website design lends credibility to your company and allows you to showcase your product or services the way you desire.

MOST Small Businesses STRUGGLE WITH Designing their Website …WE FIX THAT!

Since 2009, we have helped many small businesses design & build effective websites. Let us do it for you!

What if you already have an online presence?

You may already have an online listing on a third-party site. It’s a start, but you don’t have as much control and you can’t deliver the same user experience that you can with your own website.

Barefoot Luxury Villas was in a similar situation.

Before HigherVisibility designed them a new website, they were listed on a stock vacation rental booking platform. They had a homepage on their own domain, but customers couldn’t use that page to book rentals.

Their new custom website not only looked great, it provided a superior user experience due to its search and filtering system. With the updated site, it was easier and more intuitive for visitors to find their ideal vacation rental.

How do you create a small business website?

Now you know that you need a website. The next step is to decide how to make one.

Do you put it together yourself with a basic website builder or CMS, or do you hire a design company to help?

There are a lot of “free” or inexpensive website builders out there that will allow you to drag and drop your way to a basic website in no time. They’re tempting to small business owners due to ease and low costs.

But you get what you pay for — and what you pay might not be nothing.

You’re likely to discover hidden fees along the way, especially if you want features like a custom domain name or Google Analytics tracking. Additionally, if you ever want to migrate your site off the website builder platform, it might not be possible.

You could also pay for hosting and build your own site with a CMS like WordPress.

You’ll have a greater ability to customize and more control over functionality, but the learning curve is also steeper, even if you’re using one of the many available templates.

Creating the website will inevitably take time — a precious commodity for a small business.

It’s also important to note that neither a website builder site or a DIY WordPress site can provide you with the kind of SEO expertise that really boosts your website’s visibility.

So that brings us back to hiring a website design agency for a custom web design.

With a professional design team, your website will look beautiful and professional, striking an emotional chord with your intended audience.

A design agency has the expertise to draw your target audience to the site and give them an ideal user experience. Good agencies will have both a willingness to understand your vision and the skills to bring beautiful designs to life.

How much does a small business website design cost?

There’s no simple answer to this question.

If you choose to hire a designer or design agency, a website could cost anywhere from $1,000 to more than $100,000.

It all depends on what you need.

A site with a basic template design and limited functionality won’t cost as much as a huge website with a lot of custom bells and whistles.

Don’t be afraid to discuss your vision with a few different agencies. They all have different pricing structures and bring a different mix of skills and styles to the table.

You can expect these factors to impact the cost of a website design at any agency:

The size of the site. Self-explanatory — something with just a few pages will be less expensive than a massive ecommerce website with pages for each product.

The style. A pre-made template style will usually cost less than building a custom design from scratch.

Your ecommerce platform. Equipping your site for ecommerce could cost between $2,000 and $25,000. It would be cheaper to use a third-party system like Shopify, but these typically take a percentage of every sale you make.

Your content management system. Having a feature-rich CMS for your site is essential for your ongoing site maintenance, SEO, and content strategy. These platforms have a price range similar to ecommerce systems.

Mobile responsiveness or a dedicated mobile site. Designing for multiple device types is no longer optional. A responsive design adapts the website based on the user’s device. If you want a totally separate mobile site, that will be more expensive.

Copywriting. Writing optimized on-page copy is labor-intensive. If you outsource this to the website design agency, your site will cost more.

SEO. Nothing else matters if no one can find your site. SEO services can include optimizing technical factors, developing copy, and more. Ideally, you’ll have a plan to continue search engine optimization after your site is up and running.

MOST Small Businesses STRUGGLE WITH Designing their Website …WE FIX THAT!

Since 2009, we have helped many small businesses design & build effective websites. Let us do it for you!

What makes a great small business website?

Website design goes beyond a cool look. There are a number of factors that take a website from functional to outstanding.

A good domain name

In most cases, you’ll use “your business name dot com” as your domain name to support your brand identity.

Sometimes, your domain name will contain keywords that are part of your SEO strategy.

Try to get the .com extension, even if you register other extensions as well.

In any case, it’s important to choose a domain name that you won’t want to change later. Switching to a new domain name without hurting your SEO is a challenge.

Brand-strengthening design

A good website design has an attractive layout and visually appealing images, colors, and font.

It also consistently conveys the mood and style of your brand.

Usability

Visitors come to your website with a purpose. It may be simply to find out where you’re located or it could be to buy a product or get support.

Providing potential customers with easy answers and a positive user experience is one of the most important elements of website design.

Many of these users will be on a mobile device. A design that isn’t mobile friendly might very well scare them away. 45% of consumers say that they would abandon content that’s displaying poorly on their current device.

Another important aspect of usability is speed. No one has the patience for a slow-loading website these days. As page load time goes from one second to 10 seconds, the probability of a mobile site visitor bouncing increases by a whopping 123%.

If your site has ecommerce features, make sure they’re intuitive and safe to use.

Robust security

Business owners often make the mistake of thinking that hackers only go after the big guys.

Actually, 58% of malware attack victims are small businesses. They’re just not publicized as much as a Fortune 500 company getting attacked.

A good website design will protect your site from these attacks.

Search Engine Optimization

Any website design should include a plan for SEO, both before and after launch.

SEO is the factor that’s going to give your new website a great ROI.

53% of website traffic comes from organic search. There are people out there right now searching for what your business offers, and SEO can deliver those searchers to your new website.

You don’t have to take our word for it — 49% of marketers believe organic search is the most profitable channel they use.

When you shop for website design services, don’t consider an agency without established SEO expertise.

This should include all aspects of SEO from optimizing site architecture to developing content.

Don’t underestimate the importance of SEO reach. Your organic visibility is what makes your website such a valuable asset.

A plan for site maintenance

Your work isn’t done once your beautiful new website is up and running.

You’ll need to keep your information up-to-date and continue developing content.

Make sure you discuss the content management system with the website designer. You’ll want a platform that allows you to add content and make changes with limited outside help.

SEO is an ongoing process that you can’t neglect. You might choose to continue Search Engine Optimization in-house, or bring on a team of experts for a fee.

Make sure that you or your agency are tracking KPIs and regularly evaluating the state of your SEO. Google’s algorithm changes all the time and there are always ways to tweak your optimization strategy.

How do you choose an agency to design your website?

Not all web design agencies will have the same skillset. You need one with broad expertise.

Some agencies and designers focus mainly on aesthetics. Looks are important to a customer’s first impression, but they don’t mean much if no one can find your website through an online search.

Other agencies are full of team members who are web developers first and designers second. Unfortunately, a technically advanced website will still turn customers off if it’s not attractive and user-friendly.

Look for a web design agency with skills and real-life experience in:

  • Competitor analysis
  • Design elements like color scheme, layout, font size, and organization
  • SEO content development
  • Optimizing website architecture for both speed and user experience
  • Driving conversions

A good agency will communicate with you to learn about your vision, goals, likes and dislikes. They’ll be able to provide examples of websites they made for small businesses like yours.

Growing organic traffic through website design

Fitness19 had a disorganized marketing strategy with individual franchise sites that ranked poorly.

HigherVisibility designed a brand new website to improve brand cohesion and search engine optimization. The new site had built-in SEO features and tracking functionality. HigherVisibility also worked on additional digital marketing services for Fitness19.

The custom website and SEO initiatives led to a 383% increase in organic traffic and a 329% increase in conversions.

Conclusion

If your small business is going to have a website (it definitely needs one) you should make sure it’s worth the investment.

That means hiring an agency with expertise in multiple areas, including:

  • The art of design
  • The technical side of website development
  • SEO

How To get Rid Of Fleas In Your House

How To get Rid Of Fleas In Your House

How to Get Rid of Fleas in Your House

You can get rid of fleas by taking steps to control them at every stage. First, you’ll want to think about treating your pets. But, fleas and their eggs may lurk in other parts of your home and yard, too. It helps to understand the flea life cycle. Adult fleas lay lots of eggs. These eggs may fall off your pet and end up all over the house. Those eggs will hatch into tiny larvae. They are so small it’s hard to see them.

Once you vacuum the house and wash the bedding, give your dog a bath. Bathing your pet regularly will also help rid your home of fleas. Any soap will kill them, so you don’t have to use a flea bath. But make sure that the soap you use is safe for a cat or dog. Some people like to finish the bath with a nice-smelling essential oil that may also help keep fleas away. Before you do, know that some dogs and cats may have problems with oils.

Ah, fleas — those universally loathed pests that infest your home and make it impossible to rest easy. Whether it’s your dog, you or your home, having fleas around is simply not okay. And, in the summer, the misery can be multiplied. If you’re getting ready to sell your home (or even if you aren’t), a flea infestation just won’t do. So, here is how to get rid of fleas in your house once and for all — whether to impress potential buyers or simply regain your peace of mind.

how to get rid of fleas in your house. read more

The first step to getting rid of fleas in your house is, well, to find out for sure if you have fleas.

There are dozens of tested ways to get rid of fleas in your house. Unfortunately, you may just have to use trial and error until one stick. If you want to avoid as many chemicals as possible, try the below options.

Fogging your home is another good way to get rid of fleas and is frequently used by exterminators. The first thing to ensure you do is to cover up all the food and dishes in your house, disable (temporarily) your fire alarms, and close the windows and doors. Then, shake your fog can thoroughly and spray. It is typically advisable to have one fogger for each room.

Once you’ve determined that your yard has fleas, make sure you keep your dog or pets away from it until you have dealt with the problem (otherwise, you’ll keep repeating the process!). You can use several different methods to get rid of fleas in your yard, including flooding it to kill flea eggs and new fleas from infesting. However, the safest methods to ensure your yard is good to go are to use pesticides. Spray your chosen product all around the yard (avoiding vegetables or flowers) and paying special attention to dog houses or kennels. If you’re looking for a more natural solution, try using diatomaceous earth (de) – a powder made from fossilized diatoms (algae). De is a toxin-free substitute for many pesticides and can be spread around your yard to kill fleas.

Whether you opt to get down and dirty and rid your house of fleas yourself or decide to call in pest control, make sure your home is completely flea-free before opening it to potential buyers. Replacing the carpet in your home is also another good option to ensure the next inhabitants of your home are starting with a clean, flea-free slate.

How To Get Rid Of Fleas In Your Yard

Once fleas find their way into your home, you’ll never completely get rid of them until you learn how to manage fleas in the yard. Every time you and your furry friends step into flea-infested areas outdoors, fleas hitch a ride indoors on your clothing and your pet’s fur. Once you learn how to manage fleas in the yard, taking control of the problem in your home won’t seem like such a challenge. Flea treatment is more effective if you first take the time to prepare the area. Fleas like to take refuge among clutter and debris, so clean up problem areas when controlling fleas outdoors. Pull weeds and mow the lawn to remove more hiding places.

Find Out If Your Dog Has Fleas

If you have a dog, they should be your first stop. Pesky fleas will make them uncomfortable and you even more so if it is not dealt with quickly. To find out if your furry friend has fleas, use a small flea comb. Start by combing your dog’s head and ears, then move to the tail area and comb backwards quickly – fleas will run away from the comb, but if you’re quick, you’ll catch them in the comb.

Fleas are so hard to get rid of because we tend to only focus on eliminating the adults. To get rid of fleas you need to treat your pet and the environment. So that means finding a treatment for your dog that kills adult fleas and then eliminating all the eggs, larva & pupa they left behind. The best way to get rid of fleas is to pick a treatment for your pet to eliminate adult fleas and then work on treating the environment. And in most instances that can be done with a little elbow grease. If you vacuum enough and clean the areas where your pet likes to hang out you might not have to treat your home with any additional treatments.

You may have noticed a large number of essential oils mentioned in the various flea home remedies for dogs in this article. When it comes to flea remedies natural essential oils can be incredibly effective, and there are a number of different scents you can use. The choice will ultimately come down to the essential oils available to you, and your personal preferences. Since dogs have such sensitive noses, we recommend first testing a very small amount of essential oil near your dog to see how they react. Just like humans, dogs will have some scents that they enjoy more than others and some that they find almost repulsive. In your quest to treat fleas naturally, you should also keep in mind your dog’s preferences and avoid spraying all over their bedding with an essential oil they can’t stand.

If you suspect your dog might have fleas despite your best efforts, here’s how to find out:
stand your dog on moistened paper towels or a damp white bath towel. Brush her. If little specks of dirt fall onto the towels and turn red or brown, your dog has fleas.

You can use nematodes to minimize flea populations in your yard. Start when soil temperatures rise above 45 degrees for at least 2 to 3 weeks
nematodes are your best friends when it comes to keeping your yard flea-free. If fleas aren’t in your yard, they’re less likely to find their way onto your dog.

If you spot a flea or two on your dog, starting her on a monthly flea control may not be enough to treat the pest problem completely. “you need to give it about three months of treatment to really see how effective the flea control is,” seltzer says. “so if you find fleas on your dog, and you start frontline, for example, then using it for three months in conjunction with treating the environment — that’s the big thing. The problem is that a lot of people are reluctant to treat their household. ”.

How To Find Out If You Have Fleas

Having fleas is certainly not an ideal situation, and it can be extra frustrating if you’ve been spreading fleas in your own house without knowing it. The best test for finding out if you have fleas is what some call the ‘ sock test. ‘ don’t worry, it’s as simple as it sounds. Put on a pair of knee-high white socks and walk around your house, shuffling your feet to create heat (which those little guys are attracted to). Spend extra time in carpeted areas of your house or other places you think fleas might especially hang out.

This can be a little trickier, but there are a few telltale signs of a flea infestation that aren’t too hard to spot. First, check for what is called flea dirt – to spare you the ugly details, it’s basically flea droppings that show up as tiny blackish specs and usually smear a rusty red colour. It can look kind of like black pepper. Another way to tell if you have fleas in your home is to look through the carpets for flea dirt or eggs (the eggs are tiny white specs). It helps to run your fingers through the carpet and see if you find either of these signs.

Another reason fleas are hard to get rid of is due to their life cycle, and that cycle happens without us even noticing. We use treatments that are effective for killing adult fleas, but those treatments don’t necessarily work on the other 3 stages of their life cycle. Fleas have 4 stages in their life cycle — egg, larva, pupa and adult. The egg stage lasts anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks. The larva stage develops over a couple of weeks by eating “flea dirt” (adult flea poop) and other organic material it finds in the environment. The pupa stage often called the cocoon stage, lasts for a couple of days to a couple of weeks. If the environment isn’t right for the pupa to emerge as an adult the cocoon can protect the developing flea for months or years in certain instances.

You don’t have to be a pet owner to find yourself wondering how to get rid of fleas naturally. These parasites bite humans, too. This guide explains how to identify fleabites and what you must clean to get rid of fleas naturally. There is also a natural flea killer spray to protect your pet and your home.

The natural flea killer spray below combines salt to dehydrate any remaining flea larvae or pupae, vinegar to kill any remaining adults and eggs, and essential oils that control and deter fleas. The oil also counteracts the vinegar smell, for those of you who dislike it. Use this daily on soft surfaces throughout your home for two weeks. Do not use it on pet bedding, or on fabrics like silk, suede, or other materials that might be damaged by water. If in doubt, spot test fabric in an inconspicuous area to find out if it’s water-safe.

Use a Flea Trap

You can also try using a flea trap (with a lamp, hot water, and detergent or soap). This exercise has been met with mixed reviews, however, so you might need more extreme measures. If you need a bit more help, try taking the treatment a step further.

If you’re wondering how to get rid of fleas inside your home, this flea trap is an ingenious idea that doesn’t involve spraying anything on your soft furnishings. Simply fill a plate or bowl with warm water and add a few drops of your usual dish soap, then leave it on the floor overnight. The high viscosity of the mixture acts as a glue, trapping fleas onto the surface. In the morning, simply empty out the mixture and wash your plate or bowl well.

Borax has been known to be an effective home remedy; when sprinkled over the affected area and then vacuumed away, it can help to bring a speedy death to fleas. Beware; pets or children who ingest borax will become ill.
a homemade flea trap can be made by filling a small bowl with water and a few drops of dish soap. Place the bowl on the floor near a nightlight. With other lights around off, fleas will jump towards the light landing in the bowl and drowning.

How to get rid of a Flea Infestation?

Just like with many other problems, prevention is better and easier to solve than curing a flea infestation. As you can imagine, it is easier to cure a beginning flea infestation than it is to get rid of one that is already well-established and has been in your home for a longer period of time.

Naturally, there are various methods to get rid of a flea infestation. It all depends on your personal preference and whether you are treating or preventing a problem. To prevent a flea infestation, you could use one of our natural repellents, that will deter fleas from your pet and house. However, when your pet is already infested with fleas, it is quite likely that your house is already the home to the fleas as well. Only 5% of all fleas are on your pet, the other 95% is in their surroundings. For treating a current flea infestation, you could use medicines and insecticides that kill fleas.

As mentioned above a female flea can lay up to 50 eggs per day, so it’s important to repeatedly clean and vacuum your floors when trying to get rid of fleas. If any eggs get left behind they can hatch into adult fleas, and your infestation can start all over again. If you neglect to treat the pet’s environment (the premises), you will miss more than 90% of the developing flea population — the eggs, larvae and pupae. – ridding your home of fleas, university of Kentucky.

In addition to your pet’s coat, fleas like to burrow themselves in the corners of couches, rugs and carpet and other dark, warm areas in the home where they can multiply. If you notice your pet has fleas and you’re getting bites while inside the house, you may have a flea infestation on your hands. The majority of fleas do not live on your pet but rather in the environment around your pet. This makes it even more important to properly remove the bugs from your home. The following step-by-step recommendations will help you get rid of fleas in the house.

Treat the cause of the fleas first; usually, an infestation occurs because of a pet. treat your pets for fleas, including a prevention flea collar or medicine before you go to all the work of ridding your home of fleas.

Body Language Communicating With Your Cats

Body Language Communicating With Your Cats

How to Communicate with Your Cat

Communicating With Your Cats. Sometimes, feline body language is employed to communicate doubt or uncertainty about a person, place or object.

They may still have an upright tail, but a little hook or curl at the end signals a lack of conviction. If your cat comes to you like this they could simply be interested in playing with you.

Post kittenhood, cats may not meow when interacting with each other. More often than not, they rely on non-verbal body language to express their feelings toward one another. But they do use vocalization as part of their cat communication, which is perhaps most evident during playtime when your little critters growl, hiss or yowl at each other sometimes in sport, sometimes in fear or sometimes in anger. In many ways, how cats behave toward us is not much different from the way they communicate with each other: nonverbally. putting their tails up in the air, rubbing around our legs, and sitting beside us and grooming us are exactly what cats do to each other, John Bradshaw, a cat behaviour expert, tells national geographic.

Who knew there was a hidden code in a cats tail? cats use their tails to communicate a lot. Generally speaking, if their tail is up, they’re happy, and if it’s down, they are frightened or apprehensive. If it is wagging back and forth rapidly, it most likely means they are agitated and want to be left alone good to know. Cats also have trouble deciphering certain situations just like people do. If you see your cat slowly moving their tail side to side, they’re trying to figure out how they feel about what is currently happening.

communicating with cats

Reading Cat Body Language

Audible communication between cats is not as important as other methods of communication. For instance, cats rarely meow at one another in greeting this sound tends to be reserved for their human counterparts. Cats are adept at reading the body language of other felines. Although a deaf cat will not be able to hear another cat hiss, other visual indicators such as body posture, tail movement, eye contact, and ear movement will clue him into the situation.

Whether it’s meow, mew, me yoww, maio, or nyan the Japanese version of meow, the meow is a classic cat sound with probably the most nuance and variation. According to the humane society of the united states, the meow is an all purpose statement for cats and covers a lot of territories. The meow can include a mew, squeak, moan and combination of sounds. It can mean anything from friendly greeting to an angry demand to sorrow to a polite request and everything in between. There is even a silent meow. Reading a cats body language can help determine the context.

Though some cats are more vocal than others, they all communicate verbally. Purring is a sign of contentment, but it is also a calming method in cats and can mean your kitty is not feeling well. Again, to differentiate between the two, look at your cats’ body language. If they are purring while laid out comfortably, that is a sign that he is happy. However, if he is hunched up in a “buddha position” and is hiding, he is probably not feeling well and should see a vet.

cat with open mouth

Communicating with Your Cat

Cats have highly developed olfactory senses, and they use these extensively in communicating with other cats. In fact, chemical conversation cues are the main ways your cat communicates with others. When you think of cat scent you might wrinkle your nose at the memory of cat urine. And yes, urination or spraying is one of the more obviously noticeable methods of communication. What is it communicating to other cats? spraying marks territory and shows dominance, dr. Trimble says.

Cats communicate in many ways. They vocalize by meowing and hissing, and they display non-verbal cues through body posture as well as eye and ear positioning. Additionally, cattails are very expressive, and the position of your cat’s tail is another method by which your kitty can speak to you communicating his preferences, emotions and even signs of illness or injury. So what exactly are all your domestic cat’s different tail positions trying to tell you? here’s a helpful breakdown.

Eyes aren’t the only way to get a sense of what your cat is feeling a cats tail is very expressive. A high tail, if not too tense, denotes confidence and familiarity. This is doubly so if your cat decides to cuddle you with their tail, as curling it around you means they are in an affectionate mood. A high, bushy tail can mean a cat is scared, especially if their back is arched or low to the ground, but this can also be a sign of excitement. Always take note of the cat’s surroundings so you can understand if the bushy tail is anxiety or excitement. Bear in mind that cats and dogs tend to tuck their tails in between their legs when they are scared.

Listening to Your Cat

A recent scientific study demonstrated changes in facial features are one way a cat exhibits pain. But observing your cats tail may be the best method of listening to what your cat is trying to tell you.

Cat Language: How Cats Communicate

Of course, cats are known for meowing at their owners to convey their interest in food, snuggling, playtime or outside access. But perhaps more important is the fact that they use feline body language signals to get what they want or show how they’re feeling.

Cats do talk to their pet parents, typically using a meow to ask for her cat food bowl to be filled, or a whine to ask for more pets, and perhaps a hiss to tell you to back off. Some cat breeds, such as the Russian blue and the siamese, are very vocal and will chatter with you all day and all night long. But what about cat-to-cat communication? if you share your home with more than one cat, you already know that they interact using verbal and non verbal scent markings, use of tail or paws, arching of the back, rolling around cat language. Whether or not they understand each other in the same way that humans comprehend one another, however, is yet to be determined.

Your cats body language and facial expressions easily denote her mood laid-back and happy. The body is in a relaxed level position, pupils will be normal for the prevailing light, ears carried normally. Angry. The ears will roll back and the pupils of the eyes become perturbed little slits. Some angry cats will arch their body or walk very erect as if on tiptoe. Frightened. The ears will lay flat and the pupils of the eyes are dilated. The body assumes a crouched position.

Tips & Resources for Feeding Your Cat

A cat is a social animal, but the social structure is built around the availability of resources. Food is obviously a critical resource and if a cat feels it is in danger, she needs to guard it. This behaviour can present as a display of aggression if someone cat, dog, or family member comes close while she’s eating, or she may hang out in the feeding area in order to let others know this is her turf.

Your Cat in Heat. What You Need to Know

One of the most accurate barometers of a cat’s mood is its tail. When held high, it communicates confidence. Curled around another cat’s tail or human legs, it signals friendliness. And tucked below or between the legs, it signals insecurity or anxiousness. The upright bottle brush tail is an unequivocal sign that your cat is feeling threatened. And when combined with the arched back, upright hair along the spine, and unsheathed claws, the stance is a dead giveaway that you should back off, sueda says.

Like when you tuck your toes under a blanket or curl them under your body to keep warm, cats use their tails to help conserve body heat. Even with all that fur, cats are most comfortable when the temperature is at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Once it drops below freezing, they’re at risk of hypothermia and even frostbite. You’ll be able to tell if your cat is wrapping their tail in order to keep warm by looking at other body signals. According to veterinary news, cats that are cold crouch low close to the ground. They fold their ears against their heads, cover their noses, and do their best to be as small as possible. If they are sitting upright, they’re leaving their ears, nose, and belly exposed, so they are most likely not cold.

The caterwaul is another cat noise that once heard is never forgotten! this shrill, wailing noise can sound like your pet is in pain, but it’s actually elicited when a cat is in heat. This sound is most commonly made by cats that haven’t been spayed or neutered. When in heat, cats will caterwaul to attract the attention of the opposite sex. This very noisy cat sound is the main way that your pet will let others know that it’s time to mate.

How To Invest In Gold 2021

How To Invest In Gold 2021

How To Invest In Gold

Gold has been called the “investment gold”. Investing in any form of tangible property is a serious endeavor. This venture does not appeal to all investors. For some investors, real estate or stocks are more appealing. For these investors, gold investment may seem like too risky an undertaking.

But what should not be ruled out is that there are actually a lot of investors who take a big chunk of the profit from the sale and ownership of gold. These include gold mine owners, bullion dealers, jewelry manufacturers and refiners. The reason why they have taken this approach is that physical gold bars and bullion have intrinsic value.

As for gold securities, many people buy them to safeguard their savings

In times of economic instability, it is possible that interest rates will skyrocket. Owning physical gold bars will give you a source of income in case the currency value drops. Stocks will also yield higher profits if the market turns down.

A person could also use gold mining stocks to earn cash. Gold mining stocks are taken out to extract the “gold” found in different locations around the world. After being extracted, the gold is cleaned up. Some physical gold mines sell the retrieved gold into jewelry stores and other outlets. When the demand for the gold products exceeds the supply, the prices of the products soar.

Gold futures contracts can also be used by investors

Gold futures contracts provide investors with a way of acquiring physical gold without having to mine it. Gold futures contracts are traded on major exchanges like COMEX. Investors who want to participate need to place calls to companies that are offering the gold futures contracts. The contracts are usually of short-term durations, ranging from one month to one year.

There are several benefits of investing in gold. First, gold prices seldom fall. Even during a recession, the price of gold is expected to rise. This makes it easier for investors to invest in the precious metal. During inflation, however, some economists believe that gold prices fall due to the high level of paper money in circulation.

It is possible to invest in precious metals through online investment vehicles

There are numerous websites that allow investors to place orders for gold mining stocks. Gold mining stocks are those that result from the extraction of precious metals from the ground. Goldmine shares, on the other hand, are those that come from the possession of actual gold mines. These shares often come with “call” options that allow the purchaser of the stock to call for a sale of their gold shares. Investors who buy such stocks have to pay for the premium on the option.

Most people prefer to invest in gold securities through physical locations. The most common such locations include banks and financial institutions, such as insurance companies and mutual funds. Investors can also find many gold shops and bars that offer bullion and numismatic coins. Many physical gold shops also sell gold securities that can be purchased by dealers and individual buyers.

There are also numerous websites that deal exclusively with gold investments

Some of them focus on gold mining stocks. Others deal with bullion and coins. There are even sites that deal with investing in various types of gold. It is possible to choose one of these sites and then simply visit it for the appropriate types of products and shares that they have for sale.

There are also websites that allow investors to trade stocks and bonds for physical gold. Most people prefer to invest in gold investments through banks and financial institutions because they feel more secure when dealing with such establishments. Certain banks allow investors to open accounts with them. This allows investors to purchase physical gold from them directly or through the banks.

It is important for people who want to learn how to invest in gold to educate themselves on the subject

Gold prices tend to change frequently. When investors invest in gold, they must make sure that th

ey are constantly monitoring the gold prices to see what the value of the precious metal is at any given time. It is also a good idea to watch the com

modities market as well. By watching gold prices and the commodities market, investors can ensure that they are investing their money into the right types of investments.

Anyone who wishes to learn how to invest in gold can do so through gold mining stocks. Gold mining companies are always investing in new places where they can find new deposits of this precious metal. Gold securities can also be purchased directly from the company or through online stockbroker services.

How To Invest In Gold – Mining Stocks

Many investors today are asking how to invest in gold. With all the news coverage about the financial crisis, the price of gold has increased over the last year. Gold is a good investment because it is always increasing in value. With its price increasin

gold ira

g over time, more people have become interested in investing in it. There are also many benefits of investing in it.

If you plan on learning how to invest in gold, one of the first things you need to decide is which way you are going to invest. Do you want to buy physical gold securities such as bars or coins? Or do you prefer stock investments? Stock exchanges offer several advantages to individuals who want to learn how to invest in gold. One of the main advantages offered by stock exchanges is the availability of numerous ETF’s or exchange traded funds.

Gold futures contracts are another way to invest in gold

Similar to the buying and selling of physical gold, futures contracts provide investors with a way of speculating on the price movements of gold. Investors can purchase these contracts at current prices and sell them for future dates at a profit. The advantage of holding gold futures contracts is that you won’t have to mine the gold yourself.

Gold bullion and coins are popular ways of how to invest in gold. Investing in bullion is similar to purchasing jewelry, since it is usually held in a safe place until it matures. Usually it is bought for the retail price and turned into coins at a later date. Like gold futures contracts, bullion is a great way for investors to be able to make profits. However, it is not ideal for those who don’t like to hold things in money, for example those who are afraid of ownership means possession.

Another type of how to invest in gold is investing in gold coins

Unlike bullion, which is sold or stored by the company that offers it, coins are minted and kept by private individuals. If you are interested in investing in coins as an alternative method of investing, there are many varieties to choose from. You could get bullion or coin collecting coins, gold bullion, or coin investment coins. All of these options have their advantages and disadvantages and you should research each type to see which one best fits your investing style.

Many people are more comfortable investing in gold mining stocks. Gold mining stocks allow investors to buy shares of mining companies. Gold mining stocks have steadily increased in price over the past year or so, due to the world’s need for rare precious metals. If you invest in mining stocks, you are actually buying shares in a company that works to find new deposits of precious metals, like gold and silver. This is a great way to make money if you enjoy researching and watching the gold market.

The problem is that investing in gold mining stocks can be risky

As with any kind of investing, it’s important to do your research before purchasing stock in any company. Companies can go through a number of issues, such as bankruptcy, management issues, and bidding wars with other companies. Investing in gold mining stocks can also be very volatile, with the price quickly fluctuating. It’s important to do your homework on how to invest in gold mining stocks before you make any purchases.

Another option is to purchase gold securities through a company that deals in exchange-traded funds. There are many out there and they are great for beginners because they are easy to invest in and you don’t have to do much research to determine how to invest in gold. The major downside is that you’ll likely have to pay high fees to trade in these funds. This can add up to more than you would expect, so it’s important to understand that not all gold securities are created equal.

SEO Mad Scientist

Hey SEO scientists. Hope everyone had a great week and you’re ready to get into some SEO test results.

First, we wanted to start off by testing something that came up on The SEO Vault yesterday, and that was vanity GMB URLs. If you set it and build links to the URL, and then change it, all links are lost.

We’ve never actually tested this but the issue was brought up on the live so we wanted to try it for ourselves.

I thought if this is the case, then Google would most likely change it as it could lead to a bad user experience. I used my listing Shine Car Title Loans https://g.page/s hine-loans

That is the second vanity URL change. The original URL was “shine-car-title-loans” which now points to a Google search page with the terms…

Link: https://g.page/shine-car-title-loansIn fact, you can put any word after that URL to access a search result, even without a hyphen: https://g.page/mike milas
Another thing to note is when we tried to change a different GMB short name to “shine-car-title-loans” it appeared Google wouldn’t allow it and locked the name.
So changing the URL will break any links by sending them to a Google Search but no one else will be able to use that URL in the future it seems. Some things to keep in mind when changing your vanity URL after building links to a previous vanity URL. Now let’s look at our test from last week. Specifically, our remodeling tests listing.. If you remember, we pretty much-added bathroom remodeling terms to every part of the listing except the GMB categories and business name. Still, we see no movement on the remodeling keywords but we did notice in our reports…
To be clear, these terms showed prior to adding our bathroom remodeling keywords but we found it interesting that we showed for appliance repair when we had no reference to appliance anywhere. This shows that GMB relevance is possibly “guessed” by the algorithm similar to a webpage when Google first crawls it. As mentioned last week, if we were to add a new service to our business, what GMB optimization would be required to start ranking. In the Chicago SEO listing we have, we tested adding “telemarketing” terms as a new service, in the description, and everywhere we could. No movement was seen at all until last week we finally added “Telemarketing service” to our categories and about a week later we saw some initial rankings.
Nothing major but if you have been following along to this point then you know so far nothing has made a Geogrid show any rankings until setting the category. This further reaffirms our findings that that GMB name and categories are the biggest contributing factors to rankings for on-site listing optimization. We do have to consider the fact that the geogrid only shows the top 20 listings and as we saw with the service area, by adding it you may be allowed to show in other listings and different areas but from our findings, we didn’t get anywhere near the top 20. There is a chance that a lot of these signals are being taken into account but are basically just giving us the opportunity to show in the SERPs as opposed to providing any real ranking boost.Of course, more tests will give us some more insight as well.See you next week with test results and SEO Mad Scientist findings.Until then,Happy Testing!Get Your Free Campaign Recommendations Today!

India Seizes Bitcoins Worth $1.2 Million From Hacker of Government Website and Crypto Exchanges

India Seizes Bitcoins Worth .2 Million From Hacker of Government Website and Crypto Exchanges

Indian police have seized $1.2 million in bitcoin from a hacker who allegedly hacked a government website, online game portals, and cryptocurrency exchanges. He was previously arrested for stealing $1.5 million from an Indian state government.

Indian Police Seize Bitcoins From Hacker

The Bengaluru Central Crime Branch (CCB) Police have revealed that bitcoins worth Rs 9 crore ($1.23 million) have been seized from a 25-year-old hacker, local media reported Friday.

The hacker known as Shri Krishna is a software engineer and resident of Jayanagar in south Bengaluru. He was arrested on Nov. 18 for sourcing drugs through the darknet using bitcoins. Bengaluru Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Sandeep Patil explained that during the investigation:

We have recovered 31 bitcoins from Krishna, which is worth Rs 9 crore.

Besides buying drugs, Patil said that the hacker and his friends “were also using these bitcoins to lead lavish lives” and “stayed in star hotels and resorts.”

Krishna also hacked the Karnataka government’s e-procurement portal in August 2019 and was booked for stealing Rs 11 crore from the site.

In addition, a senior officer detailed that Krishna deployed ransomware to force the owners of the websites he hacked to pay ransoms. “He also used to create mirror sites and get information on credit or debit cards used by people who accessed sites to steal money,” the official said. The Indian Express described that according to the police:

Further investigation has revealed that Krishna, along with five friends, hacked into three bitcoin exchanges and ten poker websites by pushing three types of malware into them.

The police added that they “also hacked into YFI coin (Yearn Finance) Ethereum sites in various countries using a similar modus operandi.”

Patil noted that the accused hacked into various international poker sites and stole data, adding that his team has shared all the relevant information on the case with the concerned companies through Interpol.

After hacking websites and stealing data and money, the accused converted funds into bitcoin and cashed out through an alleged financing partner, Patil described. He added: “The bitcoins were traded for money through another accused, identified as Robin Khandelwal. He deposited the money in Krishna’s bank account after trading the bitcoins through hawala channels.”

What do you think about India seizing bitcoins from the hacker? Let us know in the comments section below.
